December has arrived and I've made a dramatic change in location, lifestyle and climate for a one month reprieve from Sudan. I'm back in Canada, to one of the places I call home, to spend Christmas and several weeks of rest with my parents, grandmas and grandpa, cousins, aunts, uncles, and long-unseen friends.
I was welcomed home with beautiful snowflakes, and a reminder of the beauty and magic of Canadian winter.
